On the Skills for English website you can create an account and book your test: www.bookmyskillsforenglish.com
Remember to bring the same document you used when you registered: a valid government issued ID, like your passport or national ID card.
No food is allowed in the testing room, but you may have a transparent bottle of water. Remember, there are no scheduled breaks!
You do not need to bring pen and paper or your laptop. We provide all the necessary equipment.
We will take a picture of you at checking-in.
We provide lockers where you must store all your belongings.
Before entering the testing room we will ask you to show us your arms (rise your sleeves), ankles and the inside of your pockets. We will check your ears and glasses if you use some.
We will scan you with a metal detector (terribly sorry about this!)
When all candidates have been checked-in, we will give you particular test instructions.
The test starts with the Speaking part, where you will talk to a machine. Reading, listening and writing components are available depending on the level of test you are taking.
Testing room and all facilities are video recorded.
Finally, you will be asked to fill out a short survey.
At the Skills for English website you can find free practice test and material.
You have to take contact directly with your test provider. Be aware that some changes might not possible due to the strict conditions of this test, set by the UK Home Office.
If you are taking only the Speaking section, you might get your results in the same day. If you take all four components, your official scores will be available usually 3 days after your test date.
